Where’s Rick?!
No worries—his car is still parked in its usual spot. His famously bad puns? Still going strong. Even his desk hasn’t moved. But where his screen was once filled with client data and sales calls, it’s now all about systems, processes, and optimisations.
From frontline to backend.
Rick has been part of the Light4U team since January 2018. His original plan? “Start at the bottom to truly understand the company and its products.” But before he could even touch a luminaire, he found himself seated next to Jos at the sales desk on his very first day.
It turned out to be a perfect fit. Rick grew alongside the company and made the shift to Karizma Luce when that team expanded. In 2020, he was officially appointed Office Manager—taking charge of internal processes while remaining actively involved in sales and client relations.

Lately, Rick has been focusing more on ICT. Less client-facing, more on streamlining systems and improving processes.
“What I love about ICT is the variety and technical side of it,” Rick shares. “I enjoy optimising systems and making a real difference in how we operate as a company. It helps us work more efficiently and, ultimately, serve our partners better.”
And during busy times? He’s still happy to pick up the phone and jump in where needed. So, luckily, you won’t have to miss out on all his bad jokes.

“What do I value most? The team spirit and the freedom to grow. I’ve been given opportunities here that I might not have even considered for myself.”
