Some relationships go far beyond job titles, office hours, or meeting agendas. They begin before a contract is signed and often continue long after colleagues take separate paths. That’s the beauty of real connection—when work becomes more than a workplace, and people become more than just coworkers.
A few months ago, our Sales Manager Ferdi Göc decided to start a new chapter in his professional life and left the company. It’s always a bittersweet moment when someone leaves—not because of the farewell itself, but because of everything that came before. The shared moments of pressure before a big deadline, the coffee breaks filled with laughter, and the collaboration that turns into trust. Ferdi was part of all that.
And while his next steps have taken him elsewhere, our story didn’t end there.
A few days ago, some of our company co-owners, Wim van Olm and Walter van Maren, met Ferdi for dinner. No agendas, no updates—just a relaxed evening with great conversation and even better memories. It felt just like old times. We laughed about the unexpected situations we’d faced together, reminisced about the milestones we reached as a team, and reflected on how far we’ve all come. There’s something special about reconnecting like that—about realising that even when the day-to-day contact fades, the respect and warmth remain.
It’s moments like these that remind us of what truly matters. Yes, companies are about strategy, growth, and performance. But they’re also about people—about the friendships formed in between projects and the quiet support that lasts beyond employment contracts.
We’re thankful for the years Ferdi spent with us, for everything we achieved together, and for the ongoing friendship that still feels as natural as ever. We’ll always cheer him on wherever his path leads next.
