Meet Léa: French roots, international sales

You might already have spoken to her on the phone or received an email from her. Léa joined the Light4U team a few months ago as Account Manager, so it is time to introduce her properly.

Originally from France, Léa has been living in the Netherlands for several years. She initially came here to study and decided to stay, building her life in the Netherlands while keeping a strong connection with home.

At Light4U, she has found a role that combines several things she enjoys: an international environment, contact with customers, following up on orders and the opportunity to expand her knowledge of the lighting industry.

An international role

Speaking French, Dutch and English, Léa works with customers across a broad international area. She takes care of France, Belgium and Luxembourg, as well as Italy, other Southern European countries and several markets in Africa.

Every market and every customer is different, which brings plenty of variety to her days.

Customer contact is an important part of that. From discussing an enquiry and following the progress of an order to keeping customers informed along the way, Léa enjoys the communication that comes with account management.

And since the lighting world is still relatively new to her, there is plenty to discover. Products, optics, applications, lighting terminology and technical details are gradually becoming part of her everyday knowledge.

From France to the Netherlands

Léa came to the Netherlands to study and has now been here for several years. She enjoys the diversity she has found here and the opportunity to meet and work with people from many different backgrounds.

Although the Netherlands is now home, France is never far away. She stays close to her family and is always happy to hear the latest news from home.

Cats, sports and creativity

Outside work, Léa has plenty of interests to keep her busy.

She enjoys swimming, tennis and table tennis, as well as getting on her bike and going for a ride. Gardening is another favourite when she wants to spend some time outdoors.

She also has a creative side. Sewing and making pottery are among her hobbies, while board games and spending time with friends are perfect for a more relaxed evening.

And, of course, there are her cats: Gustav and Gary. Spending time with them is definitely high on the list.

Her latest project: a new home

There is one project taking up quite a bit of her time at the moment. Léa recently bought a house and is now busy planning the renovations.

So besides learning about lighting projects during the week, she has a project of her own waiting at home. Working at a lighting company might come in handy once it is time to decide on the lighting.

Calm, positive and curious, Léa brings an international perspective to our team and continues to learn more about the world of lighting every day.

So if you are a Light4U customer in one of her markets, you may already know her. If not, there is a good chance you will soon.
