We’re pleased to share that Jos Pol has transitioned from our back office team to the role of Senior Account Manager. In this new position, Jos will be responsible for our customers in German-speaking countries, as well as a selection of key clients in the Netherlands and Belgium.
With his deep product knowledge and customer-first mindset, Jos is committed to providing outstanding service and building strong, long-term relationships. Representing Light4U B.V., he’ll be on the road more often, visiting clients and supporting them with tailored solutions and expert advice.
From phone to personal.
For years, Jos Pol was Light4U’s go-to contact for technical support—offering advice and solutions over the phone with his trademark calm and friendly approach. Now, as Senior Account Manager, he’s taken that same mindset into the field.
“The biggest difference is meeting customers face-to-face,” Jos explains. “On the phone, it’s all about quick answers and efficient advice. In person, you need to present solutions and demonstrate products—it’s a different dynamic.”
With over 25 years of experience in the lighting industry, Jos brings both knowledge and familiarity to the role. “I’ve built up a solid network over the years, and many customers already know me personally.”
Flexibility and speed: Light4U’s secret weapon.
According to Jos, Light4U B.V. stands out for its flexibility and fast turnaround times. “Because we build our own luminaires using universal components, we can adapt quickly to customer needs. Larger brands often stick to fixed solutions, but we’re able to offer customised options on short notice.”
His passion for customer service is what keeps him motivated. “Whether I’m on the phone or visiting in person, I always try to stay true to myself. A bit of small talk, a joke here and there—it makes communication more natural and approachable.”
With his industry experience and dedication to personalised service, Senior Account Manager Jos Pol is ready to support Light4U’s customers—whether on the phone or out in the field.
