Gerr-it. Today marks the end of an era. After 19 years, we say farewell to our colleague Gerrit, who has been with us since the very beginning of Light4U. Almost two decades of loyalty, dedication and support, with growth, challenges and many shared successes.
As our financial administrator, Gerrit worked quietly behind the numbers, but his influence reached much further. From the company’s early years of building to the numerous transitions that followed, he remained a steady and trusted presence. His commitment helped us navigate ups and downs, and his reliability contributed to the strong foundation on which Light4U and Karizma Luce stand today.
On his last day, our founders, Walter and Wim, took a moment to look back together with Gerrit on the many years and the different stages the company had gone through. To mark the farewell, we offered him flowers, a ticket to enjoy a well-deserved holiday, and a special cake with his face on it. We all gathered to sign the card and give him a personal wish, making it a warm and memorable goodbye. And of course, a screen for him today.

Nineteen years is not only a career milestone, it is a life chapter. A journey of memories, challenges overcome, and achievements that shaped both the business and the people within it. We are grateful for the countless contributions Gerrit has made, for his continuity through all stages, and for the support he gave to colleagues and the company alike.
