At Light4U, we believe that service is built on trust, and that trust starts with people. Since joining the team in September 2024, Andries has become one of our most reliable sales team members. From logistics to assembly to account management, his steady, thoughtful work quickly led him from Junior to Medior Account Manager.

From snack bar to sales floor.

Before Light4U, Andries worked for years in a snack bar — a place where he learned how to read people and respond with care. “You get to know people’s habits, preferences, even their moods. It’s all about timing and service,” he says. “That taught me to stay patient, stay kind, and remember the small things. It shaped the way I work now.”

That customer-first mindset followed him into Light4U. “I started in logistics, then assembly. Each department gave me context. When I moved into sales, I could speak from experience — and that builds trust,” he explains.

Trust across borders.

Andries now supports customers in the Netherlands, Switzerland, Israel, Australia, Croatia, Singapore, and more. But his approach remains the same, no matter the region.

“Whether it’s a quote or a delivery update, I try to make it personal. I remember who I’m talking to. I don’t disappear after the order is placed,” he says. “People want to feel seen — that doesn’t change with geography.”

Colleagues describe him as thoughtful, consistent, and quietly essential — a calm presence in a fast-paced environment.

The power of quiet clarity.

“I don’t panic easily. I like to have things organised to the smallest detail. In stressful moments, people need clarity, not more pressure. I prefer to listen first, ask questions, and then act with care,” he shares. “It keeps things moving without creating friction.”

That mindset earned him the trust of both colleagues and clients. He prefers not to rush, but to work calmly and carefully. And surely, he’s also the person you call when you need a smooth solution — or a kind follow-up, even after the order is closed.

Rooted in the moments that matter.

Each morning, Andries begins the day with a small gesture of connection. “I like preparing tea or coffee for my colleagues. It’s a small act, but it creates a positive start.”

Outside work, he recharges with long daily walks through nature, often several kilometres. “It clears my head,” he says. On weekends, he spends time with his two daughters at football matches. “That’s our moment together.”

A growing presence in sales.

Andries may not be the loudest voice in the room, but he’s one of the most consistent. His journey from customer service to international sales proves that growth doesn’t always come from pushing — sometimes, it comes from listening.
