After more than 21 years of dedication, vision, and leadership, Wim van Olm and Walter van Maren — the founders and driving forces behind Light4U and Karizma Luce — are taking a new step.
That step is a step back from daily operations. While they will remain involved in the background, offering guidance and support, they are handing over the day-to-day leadership. Their insight, presence, and commitment continue to be a valued part of our identity.
We are proud to introduce the new management team of Light4U, ready to lead the company into the future, building on the strong foundation established over the past two decades.
Tarek Nadim has been appointed as our new CEO. Over the past eight years, he has held the position of Technical Director, playing a key role in the growth and development of both Light4U and Karizma Luce. Deeply involved in every aspect of the business — from product development and supply chain to operations — he knows the company inside and out. With a background in engineering, broad technical expertise, and strong commercial insight, Tarek brings an entrepreneurial mindset and a clear long-term vision.
Zuzana Nadim is taking responsibility for the commercial side of the business, leading both sales and marketing. For the past eight years, she has been shaping the identity of Light4U and Karizma Luce with care and consistency worldwide. With a strong focus on long-term relationships and a natural sense of collaboration, she supports our team and partners, helping them grow while keeping the connection strong.
Ben Timmer joins as our new Financial Director, effective 1 September 2025. With extensive experience in financial management and a broad knowledge of controlling, Ben brings structure, clarity, and confidence to the organisation’s future. Well known in the lighting industry, he is valued for his calm, reliable, and supportive approach. We trust he will be a steady and insightful presence as the brands continue to grow.

Wim and Walter have expressed their complete trust in the new CEO and the entire management team, and they wish them every success in the future. They are not leaving — they are simply stepping into a different role. Their involvement continues, with more space to offer strategic support and stay closely connected to the people and company they built.
