Assembly Worker (Lighting Fixtures)
At Light4U, we assemble lighting fixtures used in shops, offices, hotels, and public spaces worldwide. From our location in Joure, every luminaire is carefully built, tested, and prepared for shipment. We are looking for a new Assembly Worker to join our team.

Your role
As an assembly worker, you’ll put together professional lighting fixtures using components like LED modules, reflectors, and housings. You’ll follow clear instructions and make sure every product meets our quality standards before it leaves the building. Your work will be hands-on and varied, and you’ll be part of a young, motivated, multi-national team within our assembly department.
Your tasks include:
- Assembling and testing lighting fixtures
- Editing and preparing parts and components
- Performing minor repairs on returned products
- Quality control (visual and functional checks)
- Preparing finished products for shipment
- Organising your workstation and tools
- Communicating with your team lead when needed
- Participating in team meetings
Your skills
We’re looking for someone practical, motivated, and detail-oriented. You enjoy working with your hands and take pride in doing things right.
You:
- Are handy with tools and assembly work
- Understand safety, environmental, and quality principles
- Are punctual and able to work independently
- Stay calm and focused under time pressure
- Think in smart, efficient solutions
- Are open and communicative with colleagues
- Have an LBO or MBO diploma (or similar level)
Experience with lighting or electronics is a plus, but not required — we’ll provide training where needed.
