Low-glare and flexible illumination

Project: Coloplast Amersfoort

Realised by: Groenendijk Licht

In this modern office, lighting plays a crucial yet subtle role. Creating a comfortable, focused environment that supports long hours of screen work while blending seamlessly into the interior.

Together with Groenendijk Licht, Light4U provided a solution that strikes a balance between performance and subtle design using the Irmin Louvre TR HE. The goal was to deliver consistent, low-glare light that fits the open layout — without visual distractions or harsh contrast.

Irmin Louvre TR HE — sleek, efficient, and adjustable

To meet the lighting needs of this project, Groenendijk Licht selected the Irmin Louvre TR HE. This linear luminaire combines a compact form with high efficiency and excellent visual comfort. Its integrated black louvre keeps glare levels low (UGR<16), even above workstations and screens.

The Irmin Louvre TR HE was mounted on a track and aligned precisely with the interior. Its slim body blends naturally into the ceiling design. Thanks to horizontal rotation, the light can be directed precisely where it’s needed — ideal for adjustable workspaces and changing layouts.

Comfortable light for a productive environment

The space features numerous natural elements, including planters and greenery between desks. Soft, well-placed lighting helps maintain this relaxed feel, while still supporting concentration and visibility. With beam angle options of 55° or 80°, Irmin Louvre TR HE delivers both wide and focused light where required.

For even more control, the luminaire is compatible with DALI, Casambi, phase-cut, or standard on/off control systems. This makes it flexible for future upgrades or scene-based settings.

A lighting solution built for people

Every part of this project reflects attention to detail. From the layout of the desks to the placement of the luminaires, the lighting enhances the way people work. With the Irmin family, performance and comfort go hand in hand — helping teams stay focused, relaxed, and productive throughout the day.

This project demonstrates how thoughtful lighting choices can subtly enhance the quality of a space — supporting people, design, and daily functions simultaneously.
