Cinema lighting requires a careful balance between visibility, comfort and atmosphere. Visitors need enough light to find their seats and move safely, while the auditorium should remain dark and keep the visual focus on the film.

At Charlie Bios & Bar in Heerenveen, Avecpro’s Light4U Edda L track spotlights help achieve this balance.

Directional lighting with Edda L

Installed along the ceiling on black track systems, the Edda L spotlights provide directed illumination across the seating areas. Their adjustable design lets you position the light precisely, illuminating the rows without unnecessarily brightening the surrounding space.

The black housings and tracks blend naturally into the dark ceiling, keeping the installation visually discreet. Edda L also offers a choice of beam angles and high luminous output, allowing the lighting to adapt to the auditorium’s dimensions and layout.

Combining functional light with atmosphere

The photographs show how different lighting layers work together. Warm light from the Edda L spotlights highlights the textures and shapes of the cinema seats, creating depth in the otherwise dark interior.

Coloured lighting along the walls and illuminated stair edges adds another dimension. Pink, red and subtle blue accents give the cinema halls their distinctive character while making the different levels and circulation routes easier to recognise.

The contrast between the softly illuminated seating and darker surroundings creates an inviting atmosphere without distracting from the screen.

A comfortable cinema experience

The finished interior demonstrates how carefully positioned spotlights can support both practical lighting requirements and architectural design.

With their directional optics, adjustable positioning and discreet black finish, Edda L track spotlights provide a flexible solution for cinema environments where controlled illumination and visual comfort are essential.
